1. §Блажен муж, который не ходит на совет нечестивых и не стоит на пути грешных и не сидит в собрании развратителей,
УПО: Блажен муж, що за радою несправедливих не ходить, і не стоїть на дорозі грішних, і не сидить на сидінні злоріків,
KJV: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2. но в законе Господа воля его, и о законе Его размышляет он день и ночь!
УПО: та в Законі Господнім його насолода, і про Закон Його вдень та вночі він роздумує!
KJV: But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. И будет он как дерево, посаженное при потоках вод, которое приносит плод свой во время свое, и лист которого не вянет; и во всем, что он ни делает, успеет.
УПО: І він буде, як дерево, над водним потоком посаджене, що родить свій плід своєдчасно, і що листя не в'яне його, і все, що він чинить, щаститься йому!
KJV: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4. §Не так -- нечестивые; но они -- как прах, возметаемый ветром.
УПО: Не так ті безбожні, вони як полова, що вітер її розвіває!
KJV: The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5. Потому не устоят нечестивые на суде, и грешники -- в собрании праведных.
УПО: Ось тому то не встоять безбожні на суді, ані грішники у зборі праведних,
KJV: Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6. Ибо знает Господь путь праведных, а путь нечестивых погибнет.
УПО: дорогу бо праведних знає Господь, а дорога безбожних загине!
KJV: For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
