1. §(119-1) <<Песнь восхождения.>> К Господу воззвал я в скорби моей, и Он услышал меня.
УПО: Пісня прочан. Я кликав до Господа в горі своїм, і Він мене вислухав,
KJV: In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2. (119-2) Господи! избавь душу мою от уст лживых, от языка лукавого.
УПО: Господи, визволь же душу мою від губи неправдивої, від язика зрадливого!
KJV: Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3. (119-3) Что даст тебе и что прибавит тебе язык лукавый?
УПО: Що Тобі дасть, або що для Тебе додасть лукавий язик?
KJV: What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4. (119-4) Изощренные стрелы сильного, с горящими углями дроковыми.
УПО: Загострені стріли потужного із ялівцевим вугіллям!
KJV: Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5. §(119-5) Горе мне, что я пребываю у Мосоха, живу у шатров Кидарских.
УПО: Горе мені, що замешкую в Мешеху, що живу із шатрами Кедару!
KJV: Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6. (119-6) Долго жила душа моя с ненавидящими мир.
УПО: Довго душа моя перебувала собі разом з тими, хто ненавидить мир:
KJV: My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7. (119-7) Я мирен: но только заговорю, они -- к войне.
УПО: я за мир, та коли говорю, то вони за війну!
KJV: I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
