1. §(124-1) <<Песнь восхождения.>> Надеющийся на Господа, как гора Сион, не подвигнется: пребывает вовек.
УПО: Пісня прочан. Ті, хто надію складає на Господа, вони як Сіонська гора, яка не захитається, яка буде стояти повік!
KJV: They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2. (124-2) Горы окрест Иерусалима, а Господь окрест народа Своего отныне и вовек.
УПО: Єрусалим, гори круг нього, а Господь круг народу Свого відтепер й аж навіки!
KJV: As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3. (124-3) Ибо не оставит [Господь] жезла нечестивых над жребием праведных, дабы праведные не простерли рук своих к беззаконию.
УПО: Не спочине бо берло нечестя на долі тих праведних, щоб праведні не простягли своїх рук до неправди.
KJV: For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4. §(124-4) Благотвори, Господи, добрым и правым в сердцах своих;
УПО: Зроби ж, Господи, добре для добрих, та для простосердих!
KJV: Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5. (124-5) а совращающихся на кривые пути свои да оставит Господь ходить с делающими беззаконие. Мир на Израиля!
УПО: Тих же, що збочують на свої манівці, нехай їх провадить Господь разом із беззаконцями! Мир на ізраїля!
KJV: As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
